Monster-tamer RTS prototype
A small project I worked on in my game design course in college. The idea was that I wanted to mix pokemon with warcraft 3. Basically, the game would revolve around finding and recruiting monsters on the field for them to join you in helping fight your opponent. You can also upgrade your units into better versions of themselves, however you can only upgrade the archers (careful though, for some reason the path finding breaks if there's no archers on the field, so if that does break then simply train another archer)
It's not finished, but I think I got a few of the core mechanics down - even if they're... uh, a little buggy.
Also, I didn't have enough time to add in a button to build a barracks, so if you want to build another barracks then you have to press P when selecting a worker
CONTROLS
arrow keys/ placing mouse on the edge of the screen - move camera
left click - select unit
double left click - select all units of the same type
left click + drag - selection box
right click - move selected unit / order a worker to harvest materials from a gold mine or a tree
A button + right click - attack move
S button - stop unit's movement
esc - cancel production at a building
P button (when selecting a worker) - build barracks
